What’s New?, Part 2
I have been a part of entrepreneurial ventures for most of my life. My parents owned their own small business, and my paternal grandfather was a perpetual entrepreneur. During his lifetime, he sold brushes, scrap metal, and insurance. He also owned a deli and a travel agency. He even operated a business out of his home long before “remote work” and the internet. And, he gave me my very first paid gig–paying me with a fifty cent piece for some typing work when I was in elementary school.
Yes, I first learned to type in elementary school.
Anyway, I’ve had a running joke with my friends who seek travel advice from me that they are visiting “Tricia’s Travel Agency” and this month, I’m excited to share a new service we’re offering here at Triciapedia–travel advising. We’ve been working with corporate and non-profit clients for decades on finding just the right space for an event, gathering, or meeting. Now, we’re able to work with individuals and groups on booking hotels, cruises, and experiences around the globe. Through another woman-owned business called Fora, we’re able to access perks and competitive rates at resorts, hotels, all-inclusives and more around the world. Travel advising through Fora is a commission-based service–which means the benefits come to you at no additional cost when you’re planning your trip.
I hope you’ll consider us when you’re planning your next trip. We're happy to help you find a hidden gem, a great deal, or discover something new about a beloved destination. It’s as simple as sending me an email.
Stay well, keep moving–
Tricia
